UnReel Accommodation has two delightful cottages available to rent: Utulivu (Swahili for serenity) and Urumwe (Kikuyu for togetherness).

These self-catering holiday rentals are ideal for couples or families looking for a more affordable place to stay.

Nestled in the serene Mida forest, our cottages are the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday. Each cottage has 2 ensuite rooms (one double and one twin) and its own private plunge pool and garden space. We have back up solar power so no need to worry about the fans and fridges turning off during power cuts. There is a team of friendly staff and the option to hire a chef if requested. Mere metres from the creek, just a 5 minute tuk tuk ride to the expansive white sandy beaches of Watamu, and the delicious offerings of Mannis restaurant at Palm Garden Hotel a stone's throw from your front door. What more could you want?
What's on offer
Utulivu and Urumwe are carefully positioned in order to offer maximum privacy. Each cottage has its own garden area, bbq and private plunge pool. They are fully kitted out with a large kitchen, indoor and outdoor living spaces, palatial ensuite bedrooms and an expansive veranda. Each cottage is set up with a double room and a twin room (that can become a second double) and comfortably sleeps 4 people.

We offer different rates depending on how long you want to stay. During the low season (April, May, June) we always have great deals, especially for longer stays. Over the Xmas-New Year period, we have a 7 night minimum.

Utulivu is also wheelchair accessible.
