UnReel is a 33ft Blackfin and has been fishing the Kenyan waters for over 15 years (not quite as long as her skipper!). Kitted out with top notch tackle, a killer crew and an extraordinary captain, you're in very capable hands. Boasting one of the most experienced skippers on the coast, UnReel offers the opportunity to battle billfish, tackle tuna, reel in dorado, fight giant trevally, see dolphins dance, watch whales breach, pop, jig, fly fish and more. There's nothing like a day on the ocean to feed the soul, whether you're itching for the action of landing a big one, or simply wanting to enjoy the fresh air and endless views. What's on offer
During the season, we aim to catch a range of game fish (dorado, wahoo, yellowfin, kingfish, giant trevally) and a range of billfish (black marlin, blue marlin, striped marlin, sailfish, swordfish). Although they're about throughout (especially game fish) there are peak moments throughout the season where different fish run, so choose your timing carefully depending on what you hope to hook!

When to catch/see what:
Aug - Sept : the humpback whales pay us a visit, often with their young.
Sept - Oct : we can get a great run of yellowfin tuna, and again in March at times.
Mid Oct - Dec : a great time for targeting sailfish.
Jan - March : the main marlin season
